Synopsis
Phoenix reveals that Brent couldn't have murdered Rayne, leaving his friendship group shocked. Lucas steals Hunter's phone and humiliates him at Hollyoaks High. Tony comes up with a new menu for The Dog.Plot
Romeo's planning Rayne's memorial. Lizzie offers up The Love Boat as a venue. Beau's put out to hear that Hunter's coaching Hollyoaks High's football team. Peri's roped into helping out with the memorial by Lizzie. Romeo discovers that Rayne's mother is on her way to Chester via a news article from The Chester Herald. Tony's planning a new menu for The Dog; Ste isn't impressed with it so Tony challenges him to come up with a better menu.
Hunter asks Zoe if she can help get Beau his job back, but Zoe blames him for the fact she's part of the murder investigation and calls things off between them. Romeo tears up a special portrait of Rayne as his grief overwhelms him. His friends intervene when they see what he's doing but things get heated. After cooling off, Romeo apologises to everyone and thanks them for sticking by him, but Nadira then voices her concerns about his behaviour and fingers are pointed among the group. Romeo ends up scaring Phoenix. Misbah's first day back at the hospital doesn't go as well as she hoped it would.
Yasmine tells her mother that she isn't sure she's attracted to Tom anymore. A hurt Lucas steals Hunter's phone after noticing that Hunter's paid more attention to it than to the football try-outs. Tony isn't impressed with Ste's menu, but Ste steps in to help when Zoe and Sharon accidentally pick up the menu and order from it, wanting comfort food. Lucas reads out messages between Hunter and Zoe on the school's tannoy. Romeo apologises to Phoenix, prompting Phoenix to speak up and confess that he knows that Brent couldn't have killed Rayne.Cast

- This episode was originally produced and scheduled with the intention to broadcast on 17th October 2023, but due to Hollyoaks being removed from the Channel 4 schedule at short notice, its Channel 4 Streaming date of 13th October 2023 at 7:30 pm became its new official date. This episode premiered on E4 on 16th October 2023 at 7:00 pm.
