Synopsis
Lucas catches out James's lie and resorts to blackmail. Dave's self-destruction lands Beau into trouble. James makes Lacey a life-changing offer. Misbah grows concerned over Yazz's behaviour.Plot
James's contact asks for payment. Mason and Phoenix look after a hungover Dave. Lacey is nervous in Nadira's presence. Cheryl confronts James over what happened with Brent. Lucas overhears James alone and catches out his lie. Nadira and Lacey argue over Rayne. Cindy convinces Dave to thank Tony. Lucas voice-records James's meeting with Norma. After Norma leaves, Lucas reveals what he knows. Cindy is alarmed by Dave's behaviour towards Tony and Beau. Misbah is concerned about an aggressive Yazz.
Dave stares at the cocaine in his wallet and is alarmed when Cindy snatches it from him. Nadira warns Lacey that her accusations around Rayne could kill their relationship. Dave talks his friends into going to The Loft. Ste is furious when the school informs him that Lucas hasn't been in all day. Dave explodes at Beau for making fun of him, then turns on Ethan. James asks Lacey to post positive posts about Romeo from Rayne's drafts, in exchange for a job in Norwich.
Misbah realises that Yazz is hiding something. Lacey watches a video from Rayne about her. James and Lucas pretend that Lucas had taken ill as James gives into Lucas's blackmail. Ethan is furious to learn that Dave brought cocaine into The Loft and then lost it. Tony finds the bag and gives it to Beau, but Zoe catches him and reports him. Lucas undeletes his recording of James.Cast

- This episode was originally produced and scheduled with the intention to broadcast on 11th October 2023, but due to Hollyoaks being removed from the Channel 4 schedule at short notice, its Channel 4 Streaming date of 9th October 2023 at 7:30 pm became its new official date.
