Synopsis
Things continue to go south for Dave. James goes extreme lengths to protect Romeo. Goldie makes an effort with Carter, whilst Nadira receives some advice about Lacey from Dilly.Plot
A hungover Dave discovers that he has been awarded the contract to install furniture in Rafe's office. Peri wakes on the sofa. James watches one of Rayne's videos and is disgusted when she insinuates that Romeo has been mistreating her. He convinces Ste to help him get Brent to confess by saying that Peri could be put in the frame. Jack devises a 'washing machine rota' as Dave has been using it too often. Carter arrives at The Cage early for lunch. Joel leaves for his practical test with the fire service. Leela and Ste worry about an annoyed Peri.
Nadira receives some advice about Lacey from Dilly. James visits Brent in prison. He offers to help make Rayne's death seem like self-defence at Brent's hands, but he refuses as he's confident Romeo will be most likely accused of killing her. Dave is alarmed to learn that Cindy has been married to Tony twice, and rejects the drill Tony gifted him. Tony refuses to take it back. Joel is accepted into the fire service. Goldie puts her foot in things by downplaying Lexi's murder to Carter.
James calls someone for 'help'. Lacey goes through Rayne's belongings. Nadira makes clear that she's there for her. Carter has been looking at John Paul becoming a tutor for under-privilleged kids at the school. Dave has been replaced at Rafe's office and turns down Cindy's offer of a drink. He meets up with a dealer to buy cocaine. James has had Brent attacked in prison, and Brent has decided to confess to Rayne's murder. Peri and Romeo agree to keep their secret.Cast
