Synopsis
Rafe pushes Sienna away. Goldie's on a mission to prove that Carter is not as authentic as he appears to be. Nadira tires of Lacey's lies. John Paul has a big decision to make.Plot
John Paul tells Goldie and Sally that he saw Carter meeting with his attacker at The Loft. Ste advises Sienna to find out what Camilla's game is so that she can get rid of her. Dave, Mason, Shing Lin and Ethan move into 17 Basswood Road. Lacey lies to Nadira's face so Nadira calls her out, giving her until the end of the day to tell the truth. When John Paul and Goldie confront Carter, Carter claims that Jackson is troubled and needs someone to help adjust his mindset. He wants John Paul to forgive Jackson for the attack. Darren stresses about how he's going to keep a roof over his own family's head.
Goldie's insistent on going to the police but John Paul's warms to the idea of forgiveness thanks to Carter's manipulation. Sienna turns to Dilly to find out more about Camilla. Charlie tells Carter that Darren isn't sure he can pay the mortgage so he was wondering if he could give them Nancy's wages back. Although his hands are tied, Carter offers another way to help them. Rafe puts his and Sienna's night of passion down to brandy and a moment of weakness. Carter organises a charity event for tomorrow for the Osbornes. Lacey tells Nadira why she was at the police station but Nadira realises she's lied to her once again. Goldie's livid that John Paul won't cut ties with Carter.
Darren's offended to see posters mentioning his family name and doesn't want them put up as he doesn't want people knowing he's struggling to look after his own family. Sienna refuses to forget about Rafe. Gareth has another private meeting with Carter, telling him he's being bombarded with temptation and that he can't stop thinking about what John Paul went through. Carter and Gareth pray for Gareth to stay on the right path. Goldie watches on from outside and listens in as Carter asks the Lord to shut out the demons that constantly pervade Gareth's thoughts and save him in the way that he himself was saved.Cast

- This episode was originally produced and scheduled with the intention to broadcast on 5th October 2023, but due to Hollyoaks being removed from the Channel 4 schedule at short notice, its Channel 4 Streaming date of 3rd October 2023 at 7:30 pm became its new official date.
