Synopsis
As Norma and Ella brace themselves to tell Warren that he's the teen's father, Shing Lin decides to get her own back on Ella and ruin her birthday party. James's determination to evict the McQueens sees him breach his own written contract! Charlie has a panic attack and is supported by Brooke.Plot
Warren's displeased to find Norma setting up The Loft for Ella's birthday party, having had a change of heart. James is excited to evict the McQueens during a surprise home inspection later, but Ste's dead against his plan. Darren tries to get Charlie to open up to him but Charlie ends up storming off. Dillon plans to play cupid between Pearl and Jack. Charlie overhears Shing Lin talking to Leah about burying a hatchet at Ella's party and gets his hopes up. A figure leaves a box of cleaning products outside the McQueens house.
Norma and Ella prepare to tell Warren that Ella's his daughter, but before they can say anything, Shing Lin takes the microphone from the DJ and humiliates her, calling her a slag and revealing that she's told people that Warren's her father. Having recorded Shing Lin's actions, Leah posts it in a group chat and Charlie has a panic attack upon watching the video. Brooke comforts him. Sharon diffuses the situation at The Loft. Dillon and Lucas encourage Pearl to ask Jack out. James ends up breaching his own written contract by inspecting the McQueens house without giving them 24 hours notice. Shing Lin apologises to Ella and they restore their friendship.
Charlie sees a selfie between Shing Lin and Ella and admits to Brooke he feels like everything's pouring in on him. Charlie considers taking medication to help control his anxiety. Darren doesn't tell Charlie that he's already spoken to his doctor and he's not allowed medication until he's had counselling - which could take months. James realises that Ste tipped off the McQueens. Goldie decides to have a statue of Bronzer put in the middle of the village. Ella visits Warren at the garage and wants to know if he's willing to take a paternity test.Cast
