Synopsis
It's the day of James and Ste's wedding, and Juliet is determined to keep her secret until after the wedding. Darren catches Charlie and Shing Lin almost kissing. Scott gives Beau a firm reminder of just how strong Maxine is.Plot
James rehearses his speech to Romeo but isn't happy with it and is encouraged to speak from the heart by Donna-Marie. Shing Lin helps Charlie revise geography. It's the morning after Ste's stag party, and while Tony wakes at 2 Oakdale Drive, Ste is nowhere to be found! Maxine tells Scott about what happened with Beau yesterday. Darren walks in on Charlie and Shing Lin leaning in for a kiss. With a prompt from Lucas, Tony thinks he's remembered where he's left Ste. A glamorous Juliet gets dressed up for the wedding. Ste is found handcuffed to a lamppost.
Scott finds Beau and gives him a piece of his mind, but whilst doing so accidentally puts his hand through the wedding cake. Ste is reunited with James in the Dog's car park, and opens up to James about how he feels only he will change after the wedding. James reassures Ste he's willing to compromise, and to prove it, he wears Ste's tracksuit and Ste wears his suit. They arrive at the wedding venue and get married. Darren causes Charlie and Shing Lin to cringe with a sex talk and a diagram of a uterus. Charlie reassures Darren he's going to be taking things slow with Shing Lin. Darren breaks the news to Charlie that Morgan's operation has been moved to Monday and he feels useless.
Donna-Marie gives a touching speech at the wedding reception, before James and Ste read out each other's speeches and get emotional as they do. Leela spills wine down Joel's shirt and heads home with him so that he can get changed. Ste invites Juliet to take over from him on the dancefloor and the half-siblings dance together. Whilst on the dancefloor, Juliet takes a sudden turn and is cradled to the floor by James. Donna-Marie and Peri attempt to cover-up the truth but Juliet stops them and tells James that she's dying. At home, Leela and a shirtless Joel share a kiss.Cast
