Synopsis
The McQueens solve the rent problem, but Mercedes causes another problem when she gets Goldie arrested for her stolen booze. Leah plays matchmaker between DeMarcus and Vicky. Zara finds information on Alex, whilst Juliet is upset to be kept away from Peri.Plot
Goldie has a plan to use Bronzer to make up the rent money. James continues to distance Peri and Juliet. DeMarcus isn't pleased to see Vicky back at school. The McQueens lie to Sven about the power outage. Juliet distracts James so she can sneak out. Cindy spots Alex outside of the bazaar but refuses to tell Cindy anything. Juliet surprises Peri but Peri tells her to go home. Goldie pretends that Bronzer is ill for donations. Leah wants to speak to Vicky.
The takings from Goldie's scam and Hunter selling paintings stolen from the school combined means the McQueens are £50 off making rent. Sam visits the McQueens and tells them that the confiscated alcohol was stolen. Mercedes tells him that it was Goldie who stole it and she is arrested. Juliet argues with James and Donna-Marie. Sally points out that Goldie is the only one with an income but Mercedes refuses to go to the police. Pearl tries to cheer Cindy up.
Vicky is upset about likely needing to repeat year 11. Leah decides to help Vicky with DeMarcus. Jack tells Scott about Goldie's arrest. Zara rages at Tony for treating her like a secretary and throws his papers to the floor. As she picks them up, she spots the council meeting minutes and learns that Alex is the council's accounts manager. James apologises to Peri and allows her to see Juliet again.
Leah forces DeMarcus and Vicky to talk. Juliet teases her family when she learns of Romeo's party. Sally reveals that Bronzer has defecated Goldie's missing £50. As the McQueens celebrate, Goldie reveals that she has been charged for handling stolen goods. If she goes to court, she's dragging Mercedes with her.Cast
