Synopsis
Nancy needs a miracle. Grace and Zara can't believe that Cindy's selling her engagement ring. Maxine's asked to give a talk about Eric at the Women of the North West Conference.Plot
Cindy tells Grace and Zara that Luke's given her a sign; she's selling her engagement ring. Tony has flashbacks to Diane being shot by Eric. Diane thinks Tony needs to seek help. Nancy believes she's failing her children. Cindy justifies the selling of the ring to Grace and Zara and later makes an excuse to Tom as to why the contractors haven't showed up at the Bazaar. Rayne tells her followers that Prince is going to stream a live DJ set. Upon bumping into each other outside the hospital, Nancy fills Cindy in on her daughter's heart condition and how she needs a miracle.
Maxine's been asked to give a talk about Eric at the Women of the North West Conference and asks Tony and Diane to attend the event with her. Diane agrees to go and support her friend. Cindy hands Darren and Nancy the cash she's received from selling her engagement ring; a flight is booked and Hollyoaks High finds a temporary headteacher. Zara decides she and Grace will help Cindy come clean to Tom. Prince has last-minute nerves about livestreaming the DJ set, but with some words of wisdom from Rayne and support from Romeo, he goes ahead with it.
There's tears outside the hospital as Nancy says her goodbyes to her family before heading off in the back of a taxi to the airport. Tony's firmly against Diane going to the conference. At 17 Basswood Road, a tearful Darren tells his father that without Nancy everything seems dark and scary and he's not sure how any of them will cope without her. Charlie has a bag of weed in his bedroom. Diane reassures Maxine that she'll be there for her at the conference, no matter what.Cast
