Synopsis
Nancy takes her anger out on her loved ones as she struggles to come to terms with recent news. Cindy doesn't tell Tom that the insurance has expired on the Bazaar. Sharon and Zoe have a mother-daughter bonding session.Plot
Nancy won't answer Darren's calls. The insurance has expired on the Bazaar. Sharon suggests a day of mother-daughter bonding to Zoe. Darren's encouraged by Jack to go and be by Nancy's side. Cindy doesn't tell Tom the Bazaar is uninsured, but does tell Grace when Grace realises she's lying. Nancy gives Darren a hard time at the hospital. Prince makes a bet that Rayne and Romeo can't keep their hands off one another for the day. Grace advises Cindy to be honest with Tom.
Darren and Nancy argue outside the hospital; it's witnessed by Jack and Charlie. Nancy apologises to Darren for her words and explains to Jack and Charlie how she's been feeling as they unite for Morgan. Cindy's can't bring herself to tell Tom about the insurance when he mentions how they're going to rebuild the Bazaar back up and keep it going in memory of Luke. Sharon and Zoe's lunch date is frosty, until Zoe finds out that Sharon's no longer with Dean. Romeo and Rayne end up kissing; it's witnessed by Prince and Lacey and Rayne loses the bet. Nancy reassures Darren that both they and their daughter will be fine. Zoe can't believe that Dean ghosted Sharon.
Up on the City Wall, Cindy cries inside Luke's phonebox as she talks into the disconnected phone about her problems. She hopes for a sign from Luke as to what to do next and receives that sign in the form of her engagement ring. Dr. Dowler has a meeting with Darren and Nancy. She has a colleague, Dr. Laithwaite, who specialises in heart defects in children, but he's currently on a sabbatical in America pioneering a type of surgery which could correct the condition permanently and won't be back for a year. Nancy's ears prick up at the news and she asks Dr. Dowler to get Dr. Laithwaite to perform the surgery on Morgan, stating that she will be flying out tomorrow.Cast
