Synopsis
Nancy wonders what to do when she is offered the headteacher job. DeMarcus turns on Charlie and Leah after learning the truth about Vicky. The McQueens worry about money with one less wage.Plot
Nancy is shocked when she receives an offer of being promoted to Hollyoaks High School headteacher. DeMarcus confronts Charlie and Leah. Sally decides to fight for her job. Leah reveals that Vicky chose to lie to DeMarcus. He tells them both to keep away from him. Darren thinks Nancy should accept the job, but Nancy is unsure. Sally has a meeting with Mr. Reid to ask for her job back. Goldie comes up with a different plan. Warren disapproves of Felix and Mercedes's relationship. Ethan has a surprise delivery for The Loft. Goldie takes Nana's mobility scooter and pulls Hunter in on her plan.
DeMarcus tells Leah and Charlie that they can't fix the damage they've caused. Nancy is having a stressful day and ignores a call from an unknown number. Her conversation with Yazz is interrupted by commotion in the school yard. Mr. Reid tells Sally that time has moved on and the school needs to prioritise academics. He says too many mistakes have been made and she will not be getting her job back.
Goldie, Mercedes and Hunter are protesting in the yard, with some of the students joining in. Sally diffuses the protest with a speech. Goldie has chained herself to the gate, but the small gate is unlocked. Ethan has bought a photo booth for the front entrance of The Loft and makes Grace and Sienna take photos together. Warren makes clear to Mercedes that he has a problem with her.
Leah thinks that she and Charlie should stay away from each other. He is furious and snaps at her. Nancy discovers that the doctor has cleared Morgan. Sally asks Nancy to accept the headteachers job. She gives Nancy her "best headteacher" mug. Goldie worries to Mercedes about how the family will financially cope. She thinks that they'll need to go back to shoplifting. Felix tells Warren to accept his relationship with Mercedes. He doesn't respond, but looks unimpressed when he and Mercedes leave.Cast
