Synopsis
Nana issues Mercedes some home truths over her behaviour, whilst Sally tries to convince John Paul to do right by Matthew-Jesus. Tony apologises for his accusations, and Diane is left red-faced after a steamy dream about Beau. Maxine crashes Honour's meeting as Leela sets her eyes on Joel.Plot
A disappointed Matthew-Jesus places a plate of toast in front of John Paul, who has fallen asleep on the City Wall. Honour prepares for her meeting. Leela looks at a dating app, but Donna-Marie tells her to be more concerned over their bigger problems. Goldie and Sally are angry with Mercedes with her treatment of John Paul. Dave expresses his concerns about Honour's attitude towards the family. She is rude towards Dave as he tries to comfort her and makes him leave. Felix plans to get DeMarcus a fixer-upper car for his seventeenth birthday.
Pearl reluctantly sells John Paul alcohol. Felix decides to inform Mercedes, but Mercedes doesn't seem to care and tells him to leave. Maxine plans action when she learns that Eric could cost Honour her job. Diane is furious with Tony. Maxine interrupts Honour's meeting with the prison contractor and tries to fight for her. Mercedes has bought a one-way ticket for Matthew-Jesus, heading for Alicante this afternoon. Nana walks in on John Paul and Mercedes arguing and decides to have words with Mercedes.
Beau tells Tony that his step-father was mentally abusive. He agrees to forget about yesterday. Nana issues some home truths. Maxine makes things worse by condoning Honour's actions. Mercedes devastates Nana by turning on her. She tells Mercedes that she needs to stop pushing people away, and demands that she prioritises John Paul's recovery. Donna-Marie worries about the gym being empty. Goldie begs Felix to help Mercedes and he reluctantly agrees, unaware Mercedes is listening in.
Leela eyes up Joel as Donna-Marie comes up with two-for-one memberships to get business booming. Mercedes tells John Paul that she deals with being a failure by keeping people away from her. Diane has a dream about having an affair with Beau and awakens mortified. Sally thinks that Matthew-Jesus should do to Alicante, leaving John Paul furious. Felix finds Mercedes damaging DeMarcus's new car and she demands that he keeps away from her. Honour learns that Longmere Prison have terminated her contract.Cast
