Synopsis
As the Valentine's party at The Dog in the Pond gets into full swing, one couple reconciles whilst someone else gets down on one knee. Sienna and Ethan grow closer. Mercedes causes John Paul to risk a relapse.Plot
Juliet and James stop Donna-Marie as she cheers about Valentine's Day. Peri makes tea for herself and Ste. Scott recruits himself to help with setting up The Dog in the Pond for the event. Donna-Marie gets annoyed over Juliet and James sulking, and resolves to sort things herself. Scott snubs the Valentine's party before taking charge: making Beau retrieve a box under his bed marked 'emergency fabulous', making Darren call "a high-end costume boutique" and tell them "Scott says code red", making Jack get behind the bar, and advising Tony to take Diane out for the day.
Goldie plans to burn Valentine's cards for the event, and devises a plan to help Mercedes. Leela tells Juliet that she needs to prove her love for Peri. James tries to put things right with Ste: as Perry ran off before fixing the shower, James decides to fix it himself. Ethan gifts Sienna a holiday. Hunter receives a message from someone wanting a double date with him and Prince. John Paul finds a Valentine's Day card from George in Goldie's pile. Mercedes puts alcohol in her drink and puts it down next to John Paul's when he asks her to dance.
James and Ste finally talk, but James leaves as they're interrupted by the plumber. Scott hosts the Valentine's event as Anita Tinkle. Diane is happy with the surprise party. Ste arrives at The Dog and vents to Juliet. Donna-Marie plans for Leela to bring Peri over, just as Ste tells Juliet that Peri has sworn off romance. Sienna tells Ethan that she can't say "I love you" because she's lost everyone she's said it to, instead opting to say "I'm not in hate with you". Scott comforts Juliet and encourages her to fight for Peri regardless, mentioning the trouble he had at first with Vicky.
Juliet ends up taking the microphone and makes a speech about Peri. The crowd watches as Peri runs up to the stage and they reconcile. John Paul offers to take Matthew-Jesus to a theme park. Mercedes panics when she realises John Paul has drunk her drink. Ste refuses to listen to James and Scott is annoyed when he grabs the microphone. James proposes to Ste on bended knee, and Ste accepts. John Paul sneaks a bottle of alcohol from behind the bar.Cast
