Synopsis
The march takes place, where Tony and Maxine reconcile. DeMarcus isn't sure as to how to break the news of his plans to move to Margate to Felix.Plot
The group panic as Vicky lays unconscious.
One day earlier:
Lizzie prepares a banner for the march. Honour worries when Mason wants to show his support. Lizzie shows Maxine the banner, which reads "fight like a girl". Maxine arrives at The Dog in the Pond to clear the air with Tony. Mason convinces Honour to let him go: he wants to show that he has changed. Vicky wants DeMarcus to move to Margate with her. He isn't sure when to tell Felix. Goldie makes a hungover Mercedes feel guilty. Maxine stresses as the protestors arrive late.
DeMarcus tells Charlie and Ella that he's moving to Margate. Charlie plans a party for tomorrow. Beau accompanies Diane to the march, but Tony worries that something bad will happen. The protestors emerge, having believed that the meeting was around the front. Darren has brought Jack and Morgan. Sam interrupts as a trespass complaint has been made, and Diane realises Tony has made it. Charlie gets his belongings and marks a place for the party. The protestors refuse to move and Sam receives word that the protest is allowed to continue.
Maxine goes to confront Tony. After Leah reveals that Nancy has convinced her to attend the protest, Sally offers to accompany the netball team in her place. Maxine demands answers from Tony. She makes Tony admit that he blames himself, and fears turning out like Eric and Edward. He also fears tha they're painting a target on their backs. Felix sneaks onto Scott's computer and finds that DeMarcus has been looking at jobs in Margate.
Maxine tells Tony that misogyny hurts everyone, and asks him to join the protest. Ella isn't sure about going camping after the bus crash, but has her mind changed. Leah makes small-talk with Mason. As Maxine talks, Tony arrives and speaks, leaving Diane pleasantly surprised. He finishes his speech to applause.Cast
