Synopsis
Mercedes does all she can to protect Bobby, but time runs out at the port. A humiliated Olivia leaves the village when Prince ends things between them. Juliet's drafted into the Maaliks to try and persuade Imran to go to the clinic.Plot
Having escaped the venue, Mercedes and Bobby go into hiding. Imran rips up the clinic's leaflet. Mercedes demands Bobby gets talking, so he admits he started the fire at Price Slice, intending to frighten Felix. John Paul can't believe what Goldie's done. Olivia gives a speech to the wedding guests but Prince can't bear to listen to her and cuts it short. Yasmine tries talking sense into Imran. Prince gives his speech, ending his marriage to Olivia and never wanting to see her again. Bobby reduces Mercedes to tears as he explains he just wants them to be a normal mother and son.
Imran begs Misbah not to send him away and asks her to look after him instead. Olivia gives the McQueens some home truths. Mercedes takes Bobby home, where they pack a bag and grab their passports. As they go to leave, they find Felix at the door. Mercedes knocks Felix unconscious with a telephone and they flee. Prince and Tom dance around the statue in the village with alcohol in their hands. Felix comes round as John Paul returns home. Felix tells John Paul that Mercedes hit him. Mercedes and Bobby arrive at a port and get ready to board a ferry. Juliet is invited over to try and persuade Imran to go to the clinic.
Mercedes and Bobby hide at the port when they spot a police car. D.I. Cohen finds them and tells Mercedes it's over. Mercedes tells Bobby not to say anything, offering to take the rap for his wrongdoings. Goldie floors Olivia with a punch in the car park of the Dog. Nancy helps Olivia up and Olivia leaves the village in the back of a taxi. John Paul learns that Felix tipped the police off. Mercedes and Bobby are separated by the police and Bobby tells them that everything that's happened is down to him. He's taken to the back of a police car as a tearful Mercedes is held back.Cast
