Hollyoaks in the City Episode 5 is a special spin-off episode of Hollyoaks which aired on Monday 11th September 2006.
Synopsis
The body is revealed as being Kay's, and the girls become freaked out when they realise the agency is being watched. Debbie is rude to Josh who later comforts her. Adam splits with Millie, whilst Lisa tries her hand at acting in a home movie.Plot
Debbie opens the door to police officers. Lisa is informed of Kay's death. Burton receives a visit from DCI Fisher and D.I. McConnick; they inform him that they have found the body of a female. Burton informs members of the agency that Kay has been found dead. DCI Fisher tells Burton that they want to interview him first. Burton tells them that Kay started working for them in 2000. DCI Fisher asks if Burton had a sexual relationship with Kay, which he denies. Tank Top spots the police outside. He and Enrique hide items under the floor. DCI Fisher tells Burton that she has a 14-year-old daughter, and D.I. McConnick has a 7-year-old daughter. DCI Fisher's daughter wants to be a model, it makes her skin crawl seeing how the agencies are operated. She accuses Burton of being a pimp. Several Gloss employees flush drugs down the toilet. Polly gets upset as she is interviewed. She says that nobody recognised Kay by the end.
Troy is bombarded by journalists and has to be dragged inside by Lisa. He is stunned to learn of Kay's death. Precious, Gucci, Jamie, Tank Top, Ben and Troy are also interviewed. DCI Fisher is stunned when Troy mentions a threesome with himself, Burton and Kay. Lisa mentions the mugging. She remembers seeing Burton getting violent towards Kay, but keeps quiet. Lisa is stunned to realise that she is presently the last person to see Kay alive. DCI Fisher confronts Burton over saying that he never slept with Kay. He changes his story and says that they have slept together a few times. DCI Fisher says that she has been in the police force for 20 years, she can tell when someone is lying. Josh comforts an upset Debbie. Precious is disgusted when Troy plans to use Kay's death for publicity. Lisa hugs a downbeat Ben. Burton sits in his office and stares into the distance. Gucci worries about walking home alone following Kay's murder. Polly finds an upset Lisa in the bathroom; she blames herself as she did nothing. Adam makes an excuse as to not speak to Millie. Polly confronts Burton, he is infuriated that Polly thinks that he murdered Kay. Precious is furious to see Troy speaking to a journalist. Troy thinks that the journalist wants to speak about himself, but Precious doesn't believe her.
Josh is annoyed when Debbie acts cool and dismissive towards him around her friends. Orson delivers a package to Lisa. He runs off when they mention Kay's death. Burton looks at the gun in his desk drawer. Orson secretly bursts into tears outside of the agency, which Precious and Lisa notice. Someone watches Precious and Lisa on the balcony from a distance. Lisa feels bad for being at the bar on the night they have learned of Kay's death. Johs visits Debbie and tries to comfort her. Millie pays Adam a visit, confronting him over ignoring her. She accuses him of putting her second and feels more insecure as the relationship continues. Lisa decides to comfort Orson. Polly tells Ben that she knows about his night with Kay. He is uncomfortable when she puts her hand in his arm. Orson tells Lisa about the film he had planned to make with Kay. He manages to convince Lisa to appear in his film. Millie feels like she is being pushed away, and that she wants to separate. Ben is concerned by Tank Tops erratic behaviour. Debbie tells Josh about her mother, whom she cannot remember dying. She gets upset as Kay didn't deserve to die.
Adam blames Tank Top of sabotaging his relationship with Millie. He goes too far and ends up apologising. Ben is confused by Orson's arrival, Lisa is annoyed, whilst Tank Top is creeped out. Lisa and Orson are watched by an unknown person. Troy reveals that he has scratch marks from the two women from last night. Burton sends Jamie in as the model in Troy's place, so Precious explodes at him. Orson tells Lisa that in the scene, her character is supposed to steal an item from the shop. As they are not allowed to film in the shop, Orson videos Lisa racing in, delivering her lines, stealing an item and sprinting off. They are chased by a security guard. Orson's video records a person in the background. Lisa recognises the man as the one Precious had seen the previous day.Cast
