Synopsis
Silas decides to use Olivia to get to the McQueens. Peri tries to push Nadira and Juliet closer in the wake of Sid's disappearance. Diane is frustrated as Tony leaves her with the carnival preparations, whilst Donna-Marie offers James a job at La Gymnastique.Plot
Tony prepares for "one hell of a week" as the day of the carnival event nears. Juliet looks at her many calls to Sid. Diane tells Tony that the carnival will be "the death of me... or someone else". Goldie tells John Paul that she feels that something is wrong with Mercedes. Yasmine arrives, wanting to speak to the pair. Juliet vents to Shaq, struggling with the feeling that Nadira has gone off her. Diane is furious as Tony goes on a golf trip, leaving her with a very long to-do list. Dave is insistent on helping her.
Juliet angrily confronts Nadira. Donna-Marie tries to convince James to go to his gambling support meeting. John Paul panics when Grace learns that Mercedes didn't turn up to the safehouse. Peri tells Donna-Marie that Sid has left in the night. In the classroom alone, Olivia comes face-to-face with Silas. Olivia defends the McQueens to Silas, but he becomes threatening and takes her phone. Lizzie worries as she cannot get ahold of Sid.
Diane gives Dave advice when Dave inadvertently causes Lizzie to storm off. Yazz, John Paul and Goldie report Mercedes's disappearance to Lexi. Peri talks to Nadira, pushing her to be there for Juliet more. Nadira opens up to Peri about her problems with being affectionate with Juliet.
James steps inside La Gymnastique for the first time. Donna-Marie is impressed when James helps her sort out the members list, and he accepts her job offer. Juliet and Nadira have a civil conversation about their relationship. Silas has kidnapped Olivia. He gives her Mercedes's jacket and shows her footage of Mercedes trapped in a basement where he is keeping her.Cast

Broadcast History and Releases
- No episode was aired on Monday 26th September to allow for a 6:00pm broadcast of 'Channel 4 News' and coverage of the England vs. Germany football match in the UEFA Nations League. As a result, this episode was transmitted on Tuesday 27th September at the earlier time of 6:00pm. However, this episode aired on E4 on 23rd September as usual.
