Synopsis

Ste's determination to punish James results in a petty fight. Later, James decides to reveal to the police who organised the attack on Leela, unaware that D.S. Amaral, one of the detectives he divulges information to, is working for Norma. Elsewhere, Juliet finds out who Sid is visiting, while Shaq attempts to bring Misbah and Zain closer together.

Plot

Sid and James are tormented by their pasts in their dreams. Zain accidentally burns food, irking Misbah. D.I. Calder questions James. She reveals Ste was an eyewitness. Lizzie takes a photo of Sid's phone as it rings before alerting him to the call. Sid answers the phone and claims it was Leela ringing him. Zain invites Misbah to try his lasagne, but she doesn't like it because it has mushrooms in it (which she hates). Leela reminds Ste that it wasn't James who attacked her. Ste insists he'll find another way to punish James if D.I. Calder won't.

Having searched online the number on Sid's phone and discovered its for Longmere Prison, Lizzie asks Juliet about Victor. Juliet warns Lizzie about how heinous Victor is and decides she's going to stop Sid before he does anything stupid. Sid meets Victor in prison. Victor apologises to Sid and tells him his mother has died. James and Sid scrap outside La Gymnastique. Leela and Donna-Marie break them up. James is devastated to find Marnie's broken lipstick case after their fight. Shaq tries bringing Misbah and Zain closer together. James tells Donna-Marie and Juliet he's had an epiphany and needs to get someone who's wronged him out of his life to move on.

Victor cries in front of Sid and helps an injured fellow prisoner. Wanting a friend by his side, Victor asks Sid if he'll attend the funeral with him. James meets with D.I. Calder and D.S. Amaral at the police station. He tells the pair he knows who organised the attack and will give them the information they need. Zain's certain the honeymoon phase is over between him and Misbah. Shaq has another plan up his sleeve to help the couple come through their troubles. James has officially dobbed Norma to the police. Donna-Marie and Juliet are willing to give James one more chance. D.S. Amaral meets with Godfrey; she's working for Norma.
