Synopsis
James's insistence on ruining Donna-Marie's new business leaves Leela in danger. Sid wonders what to do after receiving a letter from Victor. Tony and Liberty come to Dave's rescue when he forgets about his wedding anniversary.Plot
James quickly takes photographs of Donna-Marie's spreadsheets as Sally pounds on the door, demanding to speak with him. Dave is horrified when Lizzie and Honour remind him that today is his and Honour's anniversary. Grace, Leela and Romeo arrive at La Gymnastique before the grand opening. Sally calls James a joke, and tells him that the village is laughing at him. Lizzie is annoyed when Dave admits that he forgot about the anniversary. Donna-Marie annoys Grace at their first board meeting. James meets with Norma, suggesting that she performs a "hostile takeover" of the new gym.
Dave stresses as he can't find anywhere to book. He and Liberty are very perplexed as Tony talks about his plans for "National Linguine Day". Sid wants to plan a holiday abroad with Lizzie, but she turns him down. James tells Norma of his wish for her to take the place from Donna-Marie at a lower cost. She is impressed. Lizzie tells Sid that she can't leave Sam; she owes him for helping her get through their mother's death. Sid manages to convince her to at least consider the holiday. Sid is stunned when he receives a letter from Longmere Prison.
Grace decides to be a silent partner in the gym, so long Leela can be the manager. Donna-Marie agrees and Leela is over the moon. Dave prepares to break the news to Honour, but Tony and Liberty interrupt and pretend that Dave has hired them. James panics when he finds out that Romeo is at the gym. Honour admits to Dave that she forgot about their anniversary and booked a hotel at the last minute. Dave admits that his plans were also last minute. Norma's thugs arrive at the gym.
Sid's letter is from someone he worked with who has claimed to change. He fails to tell her that the letter is from Victor Brothers, who is asking for his forgiveness. James is horrified to learn that Leela was the one at the gym. Surrounded by the trashed business, Leela lays unconscious. Lizzie gives Sid advice: meet with him if he thinks that he will get closure, but make sure it's for his own personal benefit.Cast
