Synopsis
A back to school sports day at Hollyoaks High ends in a big fight between Mason and Charlie. Ella makes a horrifying discovery. Mercedes asks Grace to help her and Bobby obtain new identities.Plot
Ella texts Charlie, asking him to delete the photos. Mason keeps in touch with the group chat. Charlie hasn't deleted the photos but reassures Ella they'll go nowhere. Nancy arranges a back to school sports day. Yasmine cancels spending the day looking for future housemates with Tom to resuscitate some of Jack's old cold cases to start a podcast. Nancy makes Charlie and Ella team captains for the sports day. Mason is the last person to be picked and ends up on Charlie's team. Felix helps Mercedes put additional locks on the Cage's front door.
The sports day gets underway and Ella's team wins when Mason trips and falls on the way back to the finish line. In a fit of rage, Mason throws a basketball at Ella's head when he sees her kissing Charlie. Darren and Tony try and set up a regular lads' get together. Charlie punches Mason when he makes a vile remark about Ella. Nancy calls Dave in and the pair force Mason and Charlie to apologise to each other. Yasmine's intrigued by one of Jack's cases involving a bride who seduces guys into proposing, sets up a wedding fund and then runs off with the cash on the morning of the wedding. The woman wore a ruby red necklace to all the weddings. Ella cancels her date with Charlie and tells him they're done.
Yasmine suspects Olivia of being the runaway bride when Olivia drops a sticky note with the words "wedding fund" and has a ruby red necklace on. Mason apologises to Dave for his actions; he's lectured by his father on his behaviour. Mercedes asks Grace to help her produce fake identities for her and Bobby so that they can go on the run. Nancy fills Darren in on the day's events. They have conflicting views on how to deal with Charlie's behaviour. Leah receives a follow request on social media and upon accepting it discovers that Ella's intimate photos have been leaked online. Ella phones Leah in a panic and insists the profile is not hers.Cast
