Plot
Reuben demands to know if DeMarcus will help him or not. Felix refuses to see DeMarcus in prison. A prison guard, Gary, checks on DeMarcus. Zoe tells Felix that if he doesn't give DeMarcus his GCSE results, she will. Verity makes excuses not to see DeMarcus. Zoe is confused when Verity snaps at her. Felix is stunned when DeMarcus rips up his results. He knows that DeMarcus is lying about what is happening in prison. Felix remembers being locked in a cupboard in the foster home.
DeMarcus gets annoyed when Felix goes to talk to a guard, and tells him about what happened when Felix left Viv. Felix says that he left Viv for various reasons, including to toughen him up, comparing his experience to Ella. Reuben calls his dealer. Felix reveals that he refused to leave his life of crime for his family and didn't want DeMarcus to end up like him. He says that he took his feelings about Cormac out on Warren. DeMarcus is annoyed with his "never show weakness" attitude.
As DeMarcus prepares to leave, Felix acknowledges his failings as a father and tells DeMarcus that he loves him. DeMarcus is pleased with his Felix's words and Gary tells him to return to his cell. DeMarcus refuses to deal for Reuben. He reveals that Gary knows everything. Felix is feeling better after the visit and thanks Pearl for pushing him to go. Verity arrives to tell Felix that she doesn't want to see DeMarcus without positive news for him, especially due to the struggle to prove his innocence. If they can't find anything to suggest DeMarcus's innocence, they need to expect the worst result. That night, DeMarcus calls to talk to Felix. Felix can't bring himself to tell him that things aren't going in his favour.Cast
