Synopsis
James reveals what happened whilst working for Norma. Zoe becomes suspicious that Felix is helping DeMarcus hide, unaware that it is Pearl! Ripley leaves to work with homeless transgender teenagers, whilst Darren decides to be a stay-at-home dad so Nancy can return to work.Plot
Romeo is annoyed with James for leaving him yesterday. Cindy tells Tom that she is moving out. Zoe is left suspicious by Felix's phone call. Ste stops James from leaving. James reveals that he is working for The Undertaker. Romeo realises that he was attacked by Norma's gang. Ripley tells Brooke, Darren and Nancy about their job working with homeless transgender teenagers, but they are leaving the village today. Nancy admits to Darren that - despite not wanting to - she is missing work. Zoe tells Pearl of her suspicions of Felix. Romeo accuses James of having not changed. James refuses to talk about what happened whilst he was away. Tom worries that Cindy is moving out to get away from Luke. She says that the house brings her too many painful memories.
James has flashbacks as Romeo asks him for his version of events. James says that he killed someone. James tells Ste and Romeo that Norma wanted him to testify against someone who had got on the wrong side of her. A man - Stuart - asked James to retract the fabricated evidence against him that would see Norma's thugs in prison kill him. James refused and Stuart committed suicide. After learning of Stuart's death, James fled from Norma and decided to live on the streets. He wonders whether to return to working for Norma, or return to the streets.
Felix snaps at Zoe after finding her with Sam. Zoe confronts Felix over her suspicions. Darren tells Nancy that he is willing to be a stay-at-home dad. Felix and Zoe argue. Felix tells Sam that Zoe is only with him to help the Maya case, which Zoe does not deny. Cindy is put out when her moving in is awkward, and finding that Grace and Ripley already have a close friendship. Ste and Romeo want James to resume working for Norma so they can take her down. Zoe tries to convince Felix that DeMarcus going to the police is the best option. Felix admits that Viv doesn't know about what's happened yet. In the storage room of Price Slice, Pearl gives DeMarcus some food. Brooke says goodbye to Ripley before they leave.Cast
