Synopsis
DeMarcus and Joseph's feud leaves Saul in danger. Mason decides to ask out Ella, whilst Scott makes a prom for Vicky.Plot
Saul turns down Grace when she seduces him. Mason decides to ask Ella out on the last day of term. DeMarcus decides to keep his knife on him in his bag. Sid is amazed that Saul turned Grace down to work on his day off. The Deveraux-Andersons disagree over the law and police force. Pearl points out that racism isn't just in the police but in society too, and Zoe is not in the wrong for joining the police. DeMarcus tells Felix that he is going to a party in the park and rejects Felix's offer of money.
The Hollyoaks High School students celebrate when the bell rings for the end-of-term. Mason nervously tries to ask Ella out. She tells him to meet her at the party at 4pm. Saul confronts DeMarcus over the knife and searches him. He does not find it, as DeMarcus has hidden his bag in the alleyway. Vicky is disappointed that the end-of-term party isn't a big event. Honour is unhelpful with advising Mason, so Ethan gives him a boost of confidence. Sid helps Saul practice his proposal for Grace, which he records.
Mason is made uncomfortable at the party and Charlie's bullying causes him to make excuses and make a quick exit. DeMarcus confronts Charlie over speaking to Saul. He refuses to leave when Charlie mentions Joseph and his friends' impending arrival. Scott receives packages from a delivery driver: he is planning a makeshift prom event for Vicky. Joseph and his friends arrive at the party, finding DeMarcus and Charlie with Vicky. Joseph taunts DeMarcus as Saul arrives. Joseph and DeMarcus fight, and DeMarcus accidentally hits Saul in the face. Saul calls DeMarcus a coward as he leaves.
Mason returns home, dejected. Grace politely tells Saul that she feels like she's playing 'second-fiddle' to his job. Saul prepares to propose to Grace, but realises that he has lost the ring at the park. Vicky is amazed to return home to Scott's prom and is grateful for the dress. DeMarcus asks Felix if he thinks that he is a coward, which Felix does not. Vicky rejects Joseph's calls in favour of being with Scott. Saul searches for the engagement ring when he is approached. Vicky and Scott dance together. Sid finds Saul unconscious with a stab wound. Ripley receives a call from Sid and tells Grace about Saul.Cast
