Synopsis
Charlie worries about DeMarcus's intentions about defending himself against Joseph. The McQueens are divided as Olivia is accused of being the blackmailer. Grace is desperate to find out what Saul is hiding from her.Plot
Someone runs through the park and disposes of their blood-stained jacket in a rubbish bin.

Mercedes, Goldie and Sally confront Olivia over the brick. Pearl is concerned when she notices DeMarcus jump when she is closing a cupboard door. Saul looks at a ring, and hides it from Grace when she enters. Olivia suggests that someone could have overheard their conversation, but they don't believe her. Pearl airs her concerns, but Felix thinks that she is worrying about nothing. DeMarcus tries to convince Charlie and Vicky to play truant from school. The McQueens tell Prince about Olivia's blackmail. Goldie shows him the blackmail note, compared with the wedding seating plan.
Curtis tells Saul that he wants to be a police officer when he's older. Joseph tries to threaten DeMarcus to supply beer for the party. Charlie realises that DeMarcus is carrying a knife, which he plans to use on Joseph and his gang. Prince tells Olivia that he doesn't believe that she is innocent as she has lied about blackmailing John Paul. Charlie brings up Jordan in an attempt to dissuade DeMarcus. Saul overhears them talking. The McQueens fight with Olivia, and Sid - who is supposed to be shadowing Saul - calls in Lexi to help him break it up. DeMarcus and Charlie tell Saul that they were arguing about playing truant from school. Sally decides to report the threatening letter to the police.
Felix tries to get DeMarcus to talk to him, but he snaps at him and walks off. Olivia tells Prince about her wealthy step-father, who turned on her if she did not perform as well in school as other students. She worried that if she let him down again, he would send her and her mother back to the estate where they had nothing. Prince isn't sure if he can trust her anymore, but she says that she can change for him. Grace tries to seduce Saul and is horrified to find Sid standing in the doorway.
Goldie and Mercedes evict Olivia from The Cage, but Prince reveals that he is going with her. After they all leave, a hooded figure breaks into The Cage and spray-paints the wall. The blackmailer is revealed as Lexi - she was sitting at the table outside of The Dog in the Pond when Sally revealed that John Paul may be returning to the school. Charlie tells Saul about DeMarcus carrying a knife.
