Synopsis
On DeMarcus's 16th birthday, Joseph's bullying only gets worse. John Paul slowly begins to realise the damage he's been causing to his family and later decides to go to rehab. Walter returns from his travels. Ripley tells Grace they're leaving Chester. Grace is insecure in her relationship with Saul.Plot
John Paul's in a prison cell. It's DeMarcus's 16th birthday. Saul and Zoe are kind towards John Paul as they release him. Felix wants to spend the day with DeMarcus but DeMarcus would rather work. Grace doesn't like Saul wearing tight shorts for his run around the village as she worries about other women going for him. Lexi's nasty to John Paul at the park. He eyes up opened cans of alcohol on the bench.
Grace catches Saul with Mercedes in the village and gets the wrong impression. Vicky's thinking of getting back with Joseph. She gives DeMarcus a kiss on the cheek and a birthday card. Joseph watches her from afar. Ripley announces to Grace they're leaving Chester. Joseph locks DeMarcus and himself in Price Slice as he prepares to teach the lad a lesson. Saul confides in Sam about Grace's trust issues. Sam gives Saul advice to make her trust him. Joseph records a frightened DeMarcus apologising to him and saying he's an idiot for thinking Vicky would go for him.
Matthew-Jesus has been sent home for lashing out at a boy who made fun of John Paul being arrested for being drunk. Vicky and Joseph are back together. Walter returns from his holidays. John Paul decides he'll go to rehab tomorrow. Olivia's unimpressed to hear Sally tell John Paul there might be a job waiting for him when he gets back. Walter surprises DeMarcus for his birthday. Joseph sends DeMarcus the video he recorded earlier. A brick is thrown into the McQueens garden whilst Sally and Mercedes are sat outside. It has a blackmail note attached to it.Cast
