Synopsis
A night out for Maxine, Lizzie and Serena has painful consequences for Serena. Leela has a change of heart about selling 2 Oakdale Drive. Pearl reassures Misbah and Peri that men like Ali always get their comeuppance.Plot
Maxine avoids Dave. Misbah prepares herself for her next encounter with Ali. Leela tells Ste they need to make 2 Oakdale Drive buyer-ready today. Imran claims he's had a big breakfast when Misbah wants him to eat something. Serena asks Maxine to break the news of her place at the Commonwealth Games to her parents for her. Maxine agrees to Serena's request. Pearl gets Ali away from Misbah after witnessing him intimidate her at the hospital.
Serena's disappointed when she overhears Dave and Maxine's conversation about her athletics fund. Leela gets emotional at giving the house up so Ste takes it upon himself to prove to her it's cursed. Maxine, Lizzie, Dave and Serena bicker. Honour breaks the commotion up and Maxine reveals Serena's secret. Dave and Honour are over the moon. Peri's frustrated by Ali's presence. Pearl reassures the women that men like Ali always get their comeuppance. Maxine invites Lizzie and Serena on a night out, which they accept. Ste reminds Leela of 2 Oakdale Drive's past tenants.
At the park, Maxine decides she's going to make her way up the hazardous climbing frame. At the same time, Serena decides to climb the café, which has loose roof felting. Serena slips on the felting and falls from the roof when Maxine throws Serena's medal at her for her to catch. Yasmine tells Misbah that she now knows what to do if a man crosses the line because of women like her who have been so brave and come forward about their ordeal. A woman refuses cancer treatment from Ali because of what she's read about him online. Serena's then admitted to hospital where a frustrated Ali takes her on and intends to perform surgery on her.Cast
