Synopsis
Vicky gets herself into trouble with Olivia. Romeo steps in to help James on a dangerous mission, which results in him being assaulted by two men. John Paul's day out with Matthew-Jesus doesn't go to plan.Plot
Norma gives James a bulletproof vest. John Paul discards of a bottle of alcohol after receiving a text from Sally. Vicky's centre of attention at Hollyoaks High thanks to the "fit list". James is handed a wad of cash and is tasked with delivering it to an ex-associate of Norma's. Mercedes isn't sure John Paul's fit to take Matthew-Jesus to the comic book event. James shows Romeo the vest. Olivia overhears Vicky scolding Charlie and steps in. Vicky lands herself in hot water when she shoves Olivia out of her way.
Romeo demands an explanation from a panicked James. Sally gives John Paul the comic book event tickets and £20 for food. Romeo takes it upon himself to deliver the cash to Norma's ex-associate on James's behalf. He's viciously assaulted by two men when the money turns out to be fake. James finds an injured Romeo, who's convinced he was set-up. James promises he wasn't behind the scandal but Romeo doesn't believe him. The event tickets fall from John Paul's back pocket as he takes his wallet out to hand the £20 note to Matthew-Jesus. James discovers Norma set him up. Norma wants James to work for her, threatening to use Romeo if he refuses her offer. John Paul snaps at Matthew-Jesus in the village when the young lad suggests they search for the tickets back at home. His outburst is caught by Sally.
James apologises to Ste for everything he's put him through, though Ste thinks James should be saying sorry to his family. Olivia's happy to drop Vicky's suspension thanks to Scott, but she still wants an apology. Vicky decides she'll start her own blog to get back at Charlie. Sally begs John Paul to stay away from Matthew-Jesus. Romeo pretends the injuries he's sustained are from a gym workout. Juliet finds a letter left by James. She reads it out to Donna-Marie and Romeo. The letter outlines how James has cleared his debts and is leaving to join forces with a "client". James is driven off in the back of Norma's hearse for his new life.Cast
