Synopsis
Cindy's family worries as she struggles to come to terms with Luke's sudden death. Brooke fears that they have made a mistake in giving up Thierry. James hits rock bottom, whilst Eric continues to lead Charlie astray.Plot
Cindy bursts into tears as she walks past Burger, She Wrote. Donna-Marie gives James a leaflet for a rehabilitation centre. Brooke watches Nancy with Morgan. Tom collects Cindy's wedding dress from the drycleaners. She takes it from him and asks him and Yazz to leave. Romeo threatens to disown James if he lets them down again. Brooke finds Ollie and tries to comfort him. They are alarmed when Cindy - wearing her wedding dress - opens the stall and purposefully gets sauce on her dress. Eric arrives at Hollyoaks High School, interested in the caretaker job. Leah insults Charlie after he makes a sexist remark, and Eric encourages him to "get revenge".
Ollie worries that Cindy may be having a bipolar relapse but Tom thinks that it's her way of processing. Ollie comes up with an idea on how to help her. Cindy explodes at Pearl when she shows concern, and Mercedes intervenes. James tries to pull out of the plan, but Jeremy makes clear that it's too late to back out now. A USB stick is posted through Weirside View letterbox: it's an audio recording of a distressed James pleading with someone. Brooke tells Ripley that they think that they have made a mistake with Thierry.
James returns home and decides to tell his family the truth. Mercedes tries to comfort Cindy and gives her advice on how to handle her grief. Cindy receives a text from Ollie, asking for her to meet him in The Folly. Donna-Marie is enraged to learn about James's plan. He wants the rehab money to clear his debts. Charlie "gets revenge" by making a Hollyoaks High 'Fit List'.
James gets a text from "Crypto Barry" about a tip. Ollie shows Cindy the dance Luke had been getting lessons for, for the first dance at the wedding. As she dances with Ollie, she imagines herself dancing with Luke. James has lost money on cryptocurrency. Romeo and Donna-Marie overhear: Donna-Marie wishes him dead, whilst Romeo tells him that he is dead to him. Cindy watches Luke's video, filmed in Mallorca.Cast
