Synopsis
Luke's friends and family say goodbye to him after the doctor delivers a devastating prognosis. After yesterday's events, a friendship blooms between Nancy and Felix. James turns to a supposed foe for help with his extreme plan.Plot
Luke lays unconscious in a hospital bed. Nancy is awoken by a knock on the door: it is Felix. James withdraws cash from Donna-Marie's bank card. The doctor tells Cindy, Tony and Darren that they have done all they can do - what happens next is no longer in their hands. Shaq tells Romeo about James's failed investment on his and Tom's behalf. Darren is dumbfounded to learn that the baby has been born. Darren tells Nancy that Luke "had a bit of an accident". He is getting the next flight home. Romeo angrily confronts James in front of Donna-Marie. Felix tells Nancy about his feelings over the break-up with Martine.
Romeo and Donna-Marie are amazed when James admits that he has a gambling problem. Zara regrets letting the election get to her. Luke's heart monitor alarms and the doctor tells Cindy that she thinks that Luke may have a collapsed lung. They rush him to surgery. James visits Jeremy in prison. James is "determined to see [their] plan through". Felix speaks to DeMarcus and Charlie. The doctor gives Cindy devastating news. She falls to the floor in shock.
As Tony remains optimistic about Luke, Cindy returns and informs Tony, Ollie and Zara that Luke has severe organ damage and will not recover. James gives Jeremy a portion of his money, promising to give the rest once their plan has been executed: Jeremy will help him fake his own death and James will split the money he steals from their bank accounts after they receive his life insurance. Ollie says goodbye to Luke. Darren arrives home, but Nancy breaks the news that Luke has died. Zara is next to say goodbye to Luke, then Cindy. Darren meets his daughter. He wants to name the baby Morgan, which Nancy agrees to.Cast
