Synopsis
Mercedes attends court in the hopes that she can get her boy back from Wendy. James is a free man, but someone wants something from him. Imran struggles at the pub's menu launch.Plot
Wendy tells Bobby that Mercedes isn't well. James is released from Longmere Prison. He ignores a phone call from "B". Darren is next to seek help from Honour. Mercedes has to go to court as social services have filed for an emergency protection order against Bobby. Imran and Serena agree to start over, with Serena attending the pub's new menu launch to support Imran. James is polite towards Donna-Marie and John Paul, bewildering the pair.
Tony asks Imran to sample some of the food. Imran pretends to eat the food and bins it when Tony's back is turned. Wendy surprises Bobby with a trip to Florida once the court hearing's over. Bobby tells Tom the news. Darren opens up to Honour. James arrives at court to represent Mercedes. Tony spills food on Imran's white t-shirt whilst they're recording their new menu launch. James gives a convincing argument as to why Bobby should be with Mercedes. Wendy then gives her twisted version of events; a flashback revealing that it was actually her who locked Bobby in his room yesterday, not Mercedes. The judge states that Bobby should remain in Wendy's care.
Diane offers to wash Imran's shirt for him and encourages him to take it off, but he gets worked up and refuses to, snapping at Diane and walking off. Mercedes wants to talk to Bobby but James advises against the idea. He assures her they'll appeal, and then turns his attention to his own family, agreeing to get help for his gambling on the condition they seek group counselling. Mercedes finds Bobby in the village and hopes to explain herself, but Bobby won't listen, instead insisting he never wants to see her again. Wendy drives the boy out the village as Mercedes helplessly watches on.Cast
