Synopsis
Determined to save James from his addiction, Donna-Marie has a plan, but it quickly backfires and results in Romeo becoming injured. Darren and Nancy agree to bring their wedding forward so that Luke can be present at the wedding, and also be Darren's best man. Nadira helps Peri realise that Juliet adores her.Plot
Donna-Marie intends to end James's downward spiral. Peri's reluctant to talk to Juliet. Darren and Nancy secretly plan their wedding. Imran's fired by Tony. Peri rebukes Imran and Juliet in the middle of the village but is embarrassed when Imran tells her that Serena kissed him recently. Donna-Marie asks John Paul for a key to James's apartment with a plan to lock James inside his bedroom so that he can't continue gambling. Peri softens on Juliet and then heads to lunch with Nadira when Juliet gets a text from Romeo regarding James. Brooke and Ripley play a game of truth or dare. Brooke asks Ripley why they haven't slept together yet.
Luke catches Darren out booking the town hall for the wedding reception. Darren realises Luke may not be around for his wedding and wants to bring it forward from next year to next month. He offers to let Luke be his best man. Nadira tells Peri that she thinks Juliet adores her. Donna-Marie and Romeo begin packing James's things up in his bedroom, but James returns early and disrupts them. Romeo attempts to lock James in his bedroom but James has a spare key and gets out. Ripley opens up to Brooke about why they haven't had sex yet. Brooke's understanding. James finds Donna-Marie and Romeo's explanation laughable, so Romeo takes a tougher approach on James in the hopes that he'll see sense.
Nancy's understanding to Darren's desire for the wedding to come forward so that Luke can be present as his best man. Nadira asks Shaq if he wants to have sex with her. Shaq does, but he doesn't want to rush things with Nadira due to his past experiences with women. Juliet shows up at the latest Nightingale intervention just as James plans to head out to the casino with a bottle of alcohol. Donna-Marie takes control of the situation and pulls the alcohol from James's hand. A scuffle ensues as James attempts to retrieve the alcohol and a sharp shell ornament falls onto the floor. Romeo attempts to pull James off of Donna-Marie, but ends up sustaining an abdominal injury when he's pushed onto the ornament.Cast
