Synopsis
James is revealed to have slept with Raphael after being interviewed by D.I. Cohen about his murder. Honour and Dave invite Damon and Liberty over for a games night, but there's tension between Honour and Liberty. Goldie's convinced she's psychic when she keeps finding acorns.Plot
Honour and Dave play snap. Theresa uses tarot cards. James is questioned by D.I. Cohen. She shows James CCTV images of him with Jeremy and Raphael and asks why he was with them; James states he was playing a game. Honour and Dave invite Damon and Liberty over for a games night. Goldie helps Mercedes find her purse. Theresa's convinced she's psychic. Goldie finds an acorn on the floor. Ste can't believe Juliet and Donna-Marie aren't as concerned about James as he is. D.I. Cohen makes clear to James he will lose his freedom if he doesn't start talking to her.
Dave and Damon hit things off well as Dave's pleased that Damon cancelled Lizzie's shift working with Sid. Honour and Liberty don't get along quite as well though, as Honour's a firm disbeliever of crystals. Raphael's post-mortem shows he was drugged before being murdered. James reveals Raphael made him a different bet: if the next card was red, they'd sleep together, but if it was black, they'd call it a night. Goldie's willing to give her new-found "psychic powers" a try. She finds another acorn outside by the pub. Tension between Liberty and Honour increases, so Honour proposes they have a competition. James claims Raphael pulled a black card. He adds that he was also drugged on the night Raphael died. The coroners report links the elevated drugs in Raphael's body to those linked to muggings carried out by Jeremy in the past.
Sam and Serena show up at the Love Boat whilst Sid's working. Lizzie, who's at the Love Boat visiting Sid, has to hide from Sam. James is released and heads to see Ste. He apologises and asks to stay with him. Pearl allows Goldie to give Zoe a reading on her love life, but isn't happy with what Goldie tells her. Goldie finds another acorn and is convinced she truly is psychic. Honour and Liberty carry out a series of competitive exercises to establish who's the winner, but they both end up collapsing from a plank at the same time and having a nose bleed! They call a truce. D.I. Cohen phones James, knowing he lied in the interview: the card was red, and James slept with Raphael.Cast
