Synopsis

John Paul grows paranoid over the letter and decides to quit his job. Tony's mustard challenge idea does spectacularly for the fundraiser, but Cindy is left horrified when Luke spends the money on a holiday to Mallorca. Donna-Marie makes a big decision as the family struggles financially, whilst Martine decides to be Tony's campaign manager.

Plot

John Paul wakes up, hungover. Prince finds the note. Donna-Marie tells Romeo that she is struggling to pay the bills. Cindy receives an email about the trial: the remainder of the money needs to be paid within the next 48 hours. Tony tells Martine that he has a proposition for her. Cindy ignores Ollie's suspicions over the trial. Cindy pleads with Tony to arrange a pub quiz, but Tony comes up with a different idea. John Paul accuses Prince of writing the letter, then wonders if it was Lexi or one of the students before quickly leaving.

Tony asks Martine to be his campaign manager, but she is not confident that he is running for the right reasons. He tells Cindy about his 'mustard challenge' idea, similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge. However, Ollie reveals that the trial could be a scam and Tony considers changing his mind. Luke enters and accuses Tony of trying to steal Cindy from him. He punches Tony and leaves. Prince pleads with John Paul to be rational. Romeo manages to sell a shirt and decides to get a job. Tony is stunned by Luke's behaviour and decides to raise the money in case the trial is legitimate. John Paul overhears Leah and Mason talking about the crash. Mason places an envelope on John Paul's desk and John Paul accuses him of writing the threatening letter. Olivia walks in as Mason tells him that the letter is a consent form.

Ollie and Tony film a fundraiser video. Ollie partakes in the challenge first, then Tom, then Cindy, then Goldie, then Tony, then Scott, then Luke. Prince points out that the letter is not a blackmail letter and could be empty threats. Donna-Marie thinks that they should sell Marnie's clothes, disagreeing with Romeo and Juliet. Martine is impressed to learn that the mustard challenge was Tony's idea, and watches as he makes a promotional video. Cindy is thrilled when the fundraiser makes £10,000. John Paul returns to the classroom and finds "Quit your job, Mr. McQueen" written on the whiteboard.

Zara is impressed by Scott's tactics. Tony tells Zara that he might not be in the running for the right reasons and is considering withdrawing from the election, but Martine interrupts and reveals that she has changed her mind about being his campaign manager. Donna-Marie gives Juliet one of Marnie's hats. She apologises, but Juliet has seen that they needed the money more. Olivia finds John Paul in The Dog in the Pond. A flashback reveals that she overheard Prince and John Paul talking and wrote the message on the whiteboard. Cindy is left lost for words when Luke reveals that he spent the money on a holiday to Mallorca. John Paul writes a resignation letter for Sally.
