Synopsis
Prince discovers how the crash occurred. John Paul's heartbroken when Freya can't feel her legs. Olivia's rushed to hospital when she's found unconscious by the minibus. Shaq and Verity claim to be over one another.Plot
Olivia rallies the injured kids away from the minibus as John Paul regains consciousness. Nancy misses a call from Charlie as she and Darren get it on. Olivia calls for an ambulance as John Paul gets out the vehicle. Charlie supports Ella, who's injured her leg. Sally fears the McQueens letting Bobby go was a mistake. Mason realises Freya's still inside the minibus and heads back over to get her out. Shaq eyes up the matrimony event. John Paul aids Mason in rescuing Freya, but she can't feel her legs. Zara's posters have her surname misspelt as "moron".
Cindy plans on taking Luke to a football game, but after receiving a message, Zara's insistent on taking Luke instead. Freya's taken to the hospital. The police breathalyse John Paul. At the matrimony event, Shaq meets Nadira, a matchmaker at the event. John Paul passes the breathalyser and claims a bird flew towards the windscreen, causing the crash. He then forgets Leah's name. Olivia is found slumped against the minibus, unconscious. Ollie's concerned as neither Luke or Zara showed up for the football game. Luke's phone tracker shows they're in Manchester. Olivia's taken to hospital. Nadira reveals to Shaq they already know each other and then asks him questions about Verity. As he tells Nadira he's over Verity, Verity tells Zoe she's over Shaq.
Prince lashes out at John Paul. Freya's mother, Lexi Calder, cries upon finding her daughter in hospital. A defeated John Paul turns to vodka after witnessing Lexi cry. Cindy questions Zara upon her return. Zara admits she received an email from a clinic in California running a trial for a new FTD treatment, so they went to see the doctors and are waiting until tomorrow to find out if Luke can take part. Prince tells John Paul that Olivia has a head injury but will be alright. John Paul acknowledges to Prince he was desperate for a drink whilst driving and couldn't concentrate. He intends to hand himself over to the police. Verity and Zoe catch Shaq with Nadira; Verity gets the wrong impression. Prince dissuades John Paul from handing himself over and instead vows to make him get help. He insists no one can ever find out that they both know what really caused the crash.Cast
