Synopsis
Mercedes sees Bobby's true colours. The McQueens plan a Dolly Parton party for Wendy. Olivia's determined to shed Nancy in a bad light. Sally asks John Paul to take responsibility for a year 10 camping trip that's taking place in the week.Plot
Sam examines the video footage and catches Bobby on it. Theresa wants to host a Dolly Parton party for Wendy. The dumbbell collar lies in Bobby's trousers, which are ready for the wash. Sam shows Mercedes the footage but Mercedes stands by her son. Sally informs John Paul that some of the year 10s are heading on a camping trip this week, and she'd like him to take responsibility for the trip, with Nancy chaperoning alongside. A jealous Olivia wants to go. A horrified Mercedes finds the collar in Bobby's trouser pocket. Sam buys Zoe flowers to make up for her bruised foot, but she isn't very forgiving.
Olivia finds a tearful Ella in the playground and listens to her problems, but makes a remark about Mandy not being close with her or else she'd have taken her away with her. Nancy hears Olivia's comment and is shocked. Charlie films John Paul on his phone as he falls over in the hall whilst informing his class of the upcoming trip. Wendy lets Bobby win at their game of chess. Mercedes confronts Bobby; he admits he removed the collar to get back at Sam. Cleo senses that Zoe likes Sam and thinks she should pursue her feelings. Mercedes acknowledges to Wendy that she needs help with Bobby. John Paul snatches Charlie's phone to delete the video so Charlie tries to retrieve it. Nancy catches the pair in the act.
Mercedes covers for Bobby by telling Sam it was her who tampered with the dumbbell as she fancies him, and was jealous of Zoe. Sam agrees to keep a lid on what happened but gives a firm warning. Nancy wants answers from John Paul and Charlie but Olivia interrupts their conversation to wind Nancy up and then accuses her of causing a scene in front of the students. Zoe visits Sam to make amends but they don't get far and end up bickering. Olivia twists events and tells Sally that Nancy had a go at John Paul in front of the students, and she was in the wrong. Mercedes apologises to Bobby, but he's angry with her, having found the leaflet for the specialist school. He tells Mercedes he hates her and the pair get into a scuffle, resulting in Bobby falling to the floor. Wendy then walks in and questions Mercedes on what she's done.Cast
