Synopsis
Sid is cleared of the accusations, but the Chen-Williams family refuse to forgive him. Joel remains concerned over Warren. Cindy and Goldie go to war over the wedding dress, whilst Zara enters the running for the council job.Plot
Honour vows to make Sid pay. Warren continues in his attempts to hide his pain from Joel. Goldie wants Cindy to pay for the wedding dress, but Cindy tells her to "jog on". Sid leaves a voicemail for Lizzie. He assures Juliet that he did not give Clara any drugs. Juliet answers the door to Zoe, who takes Sid to the police station. Warren lies to Joel about the doctor who is prescribing him medication. Juliet is furious with Zoe, and learns that Lizzie and Honour called the police. Lizzie tells Sid that she doesn't know whether to trust him.
Serena wakes in hospital with Dave at her bedside. Cindy tries to tell Luke about their wedding plans, but Luke responds by talking about football. Cindy calls a wedding company and asks for them to call her if they have a cancellation within the next three months instead of six. Joel confronts Warren over lying to him about the doctor. He gets angry when Joel tries to tell him to stop doing physical activity. Zara and Ollie are surprised when Scott reveals that they only need ten signatures to apply for council. Scott decides to remain loyal to Tony. Honour breaks the news that the amphetamines in Serena's system could appear on anti-doping tests for up to three months and result in a lifetime ban.
Goldie and Cindy argue. Cindy insults Prince, so Goldie vows to get revenge. Juliet tells Lizzie about Sid being groomed into county lines drug dealing. Lizzie reveals that her father had an addiction and remembers at the age of five, finding her mother over her unconscious father after he overdosed. Juliet reveals that Donna-Marie is an addict. Warren has a dizzy spell at the flat as Joel tries to convince him to mediate. Dave tells Ethan about Serena. Warren makes Joel see that he is fussing. He convinces Joel to plan something for the community. Warren lies to Joel that he is sorting outpatient work, but secretly signs up for the Dee Valley Fight League.
Tony and Imran are shocked to learn that Zara is also applying for council. Zara challenges Tony to a debate in the middle of the village. Cindy is upset to learn that Goldie has lied that Prince has a terminal condition in order to book a July wedding on the Arsenal grounds. Olivia is furious. However, Goldie tells Olivia that Cindy insulted her and she changes her mind. Lizzie and Sid reconcile. She has managed to get the truth from Clara. Dave catches them together and he and Serena reject Sid, with Dave ordering Lizzie to keep away from Sid. Ethan is revealed to be Clara's dealer. Ethan threatens to have her killed if she steps foot in the village again.Cast
