Synopsis
James flashes his cash but ends up in a dangerous situation. Ella issues Charlie an ultimatum: step up or else she'll be a single mother. Ste continues the struggle to make ends meet, whilst the McQueens explore the hidden rooms in The Cage.Plot
James wants to celebrate his cryptocurrency success with Ste. Theresa and Goldie are alarmed by what they find in the cellar. Charlie is unimpressed to be reminded of Ella's upcoming baby scan. James is annoyed when Ste goes to bed, so he opts to celebrate himself. Goldie and Theresa are amazed when they find another room with a bar. Leah wants Ella's advice on DeMarcus. John Paul refuses to go out with James. Mercedes hears Bobby receive notifications on his tablet late at night and demands that he shows her who he has been talking to. Bobby quickly deletes the messages from Silas.
Leah is confused by Ella's behaviour. Ella reveals that she is considering an abortion. James meets with Luis, who is happy about meeting with James. Bobby lies to Mercedes that he has been speaking to Wendy Blissett, and Mercedes is disappointed when he says that he thinks the Costello side of the family understand him better. James takes an unimpressed Luis to a casino. They meet two other men: Jeremy and Raphael. Lucas is upset when Ste tells him that he cannot pay for the school trip. Tony tries to comfort John Paul. Theresa, Goldie and Olivia come up with a plan to help Mercedes.
Leah helps Ella restore her confidence. Raphael gives James a glass of champagne to celebrate James's continuous winning streak. Luis advises James to quit whilst he's ahead, so James tells him to leave. Ste cleans The Dog in the Pond after closing time, lying to Tony about his financial situation. James realises that he has been spiked. Ella calls Charlie and tells him that he is being useless. If he wants to prove that he isn't, he'll go to every scan and appointment with her - otherwise she'll raise the baby by herself. Mercedes tells Bobby that she has invited Wendy over to stay over to see him. Jeremy and Raphael take a barely conscious James to a shipping yard where they mug him.Cast
