Synopsis
Mercedes ignores everyone's concerns about Bobby's behaviours. Toby begins to awaken from his coma after a visit from DeMarcus. Ste decides to hold a second wake for Marnie, whilst Sam warns Sid to stay away from Serena.Plot
Mercedes refuses to listen to Honour, adamant that nothing is wrong with Bobby. Serena makes clear that she is still angry with Dave. James refuses to talk to Ste. Honour tells Mercedes that she is worried that Bobby's attempts to block out what has happened is unhealthy. Mercedes is adamant that the McQueens can provide all of the support Bobby needs. Serena decides to attend Sam's fitness class at Hollyoaks High School instead of training with Dave. Bobby overhears Mercedes and Nana talking, and John Paul notices him. Bobby doesn't want Mercedes to talk to the teachers but Mercedes snaps at him, so John Paul decides to take Bobby out.
James is angry when Ste makes losing Marnie about him, over considering James's feelings. John Paul goes into Price Slice and leaves Bobby outside. Bobby ends up running off. Cleo bumps into DeMarcus outside of the hospital. She comforts him over his conflicted feelings over Toby, and she worries about Toby finding out about Celeste's death. Mercedes finds John Paul at Price Slice and panicks to find Bobby missing. Serena, Sid and Imran are slightly awkward when they encounter each other at Sam's fitness class.
Ste has arranged a second wake, telling James that Marnie was worthy of two send-offs. The Nightingales remember Marnie's insults, with Juliet calling them an "art form". Serena tells Sam that she thinks that she should train with Dave, and he realises it's about Sid. Honour returns Bobby, who has injured his ankle on the rubble at the Salon de Thé. Honour is left aghast by Mercedes's behaviour. Sam takes Sid aside and warns him to stay away from Serena.
Ste is surprised when James asks him not to leave so soon. Mercedes is unappreciative of Honour's attempts to help. DeMarcus visits a comatose Toby in hospital. As he speaks to Toby, he notices his fingers twitch and shouts for help. Sam is adamant that Honour should call social services on Mercedes. He worries that next time, Mercedes could get violent.Cast
