Synopsis
Liberty is enraged to find out what Damon's gambling has lost them. Donna-Marie convinces Ste to show James that he isn't going anywhere. Dave assures Lizzie that - even if they are not biologically related - she will always be his daughter, whilst Becky convinces Ollie that they need to flee the village.Plot
Ste watches disapprovingly as James and Ethan play poker. Lizzie is slightly cold towards Dave. Becky worries as the villagers think that she stole Marnie Nightingale's collection money. Ste confisgates James's money, so Ethan lends him the money. James says that he and Ste are better off without each other, causing him to storm off. Becky realises that James has framed her. She thinks that she, Henry and Ollie need to leave. Scott convinces Liberty not to go to The Loft. John Paul tries to sort things between Goldie and Cher, but decides to grab a bottle of wine.
Donna-Marie is unconvinced by Ste's lie when he returns the money. He tells her that James stole the money. Both Lizzie and Sam make clear that they still haven't forgiven Dave. Damon is desperate for the gambling night not to end early, so Ethan loans him the money so James doesn't take all of the winnings. Becky struggles to convince Ollie to leave with her, and Luke believing that Sue is waiting for them at the firework display helps him make up his mind. Becky is angry and accidentally calls Ollie "Graham".
Damon is petrified when James wins, and Ethan wants the money tomorrow. Lizzie tells Dave about how she feels, not being his biological daughter. Dave points out that Serena also isn't his blood relative, and says that Lizzie has been part of the family the whole time. He tells Lizzie that he never wants her to feel like she's in competition with Maxine. Cher comforts John Paul, who admits that he is thinking of George constantly. Cher thinks that John Paul isn't grieving for George, but for who he thought George was.
Dave is pleased when Mason forgives him. Ethan vents to Dave about James, but comes up with an idea as to how to "put him into his place". Liberty waits outside The Love Boat for Damon. She explodes at him over lying about being able to afford New York. Damon reveals that he borrowed from Ethan - but he will wipe the debt if he is given Savage's Emporium. Ste convinces James to open up to him. James tells Ste that he's still expecting Marnie to come downstairs to tell him the latest village gossip. Becky tells Ollie that Graham was her late husband. She talks about her future with Ollie and Henry, convincing him to leave with her.Cast
