Synopsis
Martine and Felix struggle to come to terms with some heartbreaking news. The McQueens are devastated when Sylver's body is recovered. Tragedy strikes for the Nightingales.Plot
Goldie and Mercedes wait outside the Salon de Thé for news on Sylver. Juliet's monitors ring out their alarms, prompting a worried Marnie to seek her medical assistance. Martine reveals to Felix that Toby is in ICU with a head injury, while Celeste is in the chapel, having succumbed to her injuries. Felix falls to a chair in shock. Doctors confirm that Romeo will be alright. Juliet has emergency surgery to remove her spleen. Zara is desperate to get Ollie away from Becky. Sylver's body is recovered from the patisserie. John Paul confirms Sylver's identity to an inconsolable Mercedes.
Marnie lashes out at Felix. Felix wishes it was him who died in the explosion and not Celeste. James shows up at the hospital reeking of booze and engages in an argument with Marnie. Becky manipulates Cindy into talking Zara out of getting rid her by claiming she and Ollie are thinking of leaving the village because of her. Juliet pulls through surgery. Martine blames Felix for everything that's happened, believing that him selling their children caused the chain of events that have happened in their lives and Toby to kill. She also wishes he was dead. Bobby and Cher learn of Sylver's death. Cher walks off, unable to comprehend the events. Bobby's apologetic to his mother but she reassures him it's not his fault. A flashback reveals that Bobby confronted a trapped Sylver over him leaving the family before heading outside the burning building and claiming he had not seen Sylver.
Firefighters recover Sylver's phone from the rubble and another flashback shows that Sylver had left a video message for Mercedes moments before his death, stating that Bobby is on his way out and knows where he is. Misbah confirms to Marnie that Juliet will be alright. The pair share a tender moment and Marnie then softens on Donna-Marie, thanking her for providing her with Romeo and Juliet and for coming back. Marnie rests her head on Donna-Marie's shoulder and gently slips away. An oblivious Donna-Marie thanks Marnie and then realises that Marnie is unresponsive. She cries out for help. Misbah shows up and performs CPR on her friend as a helpless Donna-Marie and James watch on, but it is unsuccessful.Cast
