Synopsis
Maxine is left heartbroken by Warren once again. Marnie's kindness doesn't go unnoticed. Celeste finds herself attracted to a man named Sam whilst out for cocktails with Cleo and Verity. Scott offers to look after his friend's daughter whilst she's in hospital.Plot
Maxine is told that Warren's release has been delayed. Martine won't answer Celeste's calls. Someone's left a bag of Christmas presents outside Ste and Leela's. Martine wishes Celeste had kept the police out of their business. Ste finds the presents and assumes they're from James. Honour learns Warren is still being released today; Warren claims he spoke out of character yesterday and wants to change, so she agrees to keep what was said between them. Scott is asked by his friend, Alice, if he can look after her daughter for a few days as she has to go into hospital.
Trish tells Maxine that today is the day of Fergus's funeral. Maxine insists they attend the funeral together. Ste confronts James over the gifts and soon realises they're not from him. Warren's released. Both Maxine and Sienna are pleased to see him. Maxine asks Warren to attend Fergus's funeral with her. Celeste invites Cleo and Verity for cocktails. Peri and Juliet cause disruption when the hearse pulls up. Warren is wound up by them and ends up pulling Fergus's coffin from the hearse, much to Maxine's horror. Lexi thinks Saul is in danger of jeopardising Lisa's case with his obsession over Celeste.
Warren ends things with Maxine following his outburst. Scott introduces Mary to Diane and Tony. Trish is revealed to have engineered Warren and Maxine's break-up. Ste works out it was Marnie who delivered the Christmas gifts. Celeste is infatuated with a man named Sam, who she meets whilst out for cocktails. A hurt Maxine thinks Sienna has had something to do with her and Warren's break-up. Trish reveals to Maxine that she's booked her plane tickets to Los Angeles to see her sister, and the flight's tomorrow.Cast
