Synopsis
Theresa manages to get her job back at the pub, but Tony deals her a blow when he reveals he's had a buyer for their flat, so her family will have to find somewhere else to live. Luke ends up in hospital. Misbah learns what Shaq and Verity have done to try and get her justice.Plot
Luke's failed to return home and Cindy's worried sick. D.S. Cohen wants to discuss with Misbah the new evidence against Ali. Theresa thinks she's ruined Kathleen-Angel's Christmas. Misbah's shown the confession letter by D.S. Cohen and cannot believe what she's seeing. Sami sits quiet, despite knowing the letter was forged. Theresa asks Ripley to make another sustainable dollshouse but Ripley won't have it made in time for Christmas. The McQueens decide they need to look for somewhere else to live as their current place isn't big enough. Cindy receives a phone call from the hospital, informing her that Luke's been admitted. He awakens confused.
Ali refuses to look at the forged evidence when brought in for questioning by D.S. Cohen and accuses her of working with the Maaliks to bring him down. Olivia apologises to Nancy for telling John Paul her secret. She wants to reinvolve herself in the Nativity but Nancy doesn't want her input. Misbah learns from Shaq that he and Verity forged the latest evidence against Ali and is livid. She wants to tell the police the truth. Theresa begs Tony for another trial shift. He gives her an opportunity to prove herself but she's let go after less than five minutes when Dave shows up at the pub and she smashes his newly bought champagne flutes out of spite.
Luke's discharged from hospital. Cindy's emotional at how Luke's deteriorated over recent months. Tony allows Theresa to keep her job but informs her that she and her family must move out of the flat because he's had a buyer, who is later revealed to be Dave. Imran supports Ollie as he heads into the hospital for his FTD test. Misbah tells Verity that she knows she forged evidence and is going to go to the police about it. Verity tries talking Misbah out of going to the police, but they are both unaware that Shaq has already gone to the police himself and admitted that he forged the letter against Ali. He is arrested for perverting the course of justice.Cast
