Synopsis
Trish panics when Maxine gets the police involved, but P.C. Franks saves the day. Nate continues his investigation, startling Toby and Celeste who know that someone is onto them. Ste is left angered whilst working with Sienna.Plot
The prison guard puts a call on the radio, saying that Warren is not breathing. Maxine drops the champagne bottle as Trish tells her that Fergus has no pulse. Nate trashes the Deverauxes' flat before calling Grace. He tells Grace that he has found evidence to back up his theory. Martine is pleased when Marnie hopes that she has a good wedding day. Trish wants to cover up the crime scene, but Maxine wants to call the police. Celeste and Toby are startled to discover that they have been broke into, but only Celeste's notebook and Lisa's postcard has gone missing.
Ste and Sienna bicker as they clean the bazaar. Maxine returns to The Loft with D.S. Cohen, who immediately takes control of the scene before confronting Trish. Nate watches Celeste, Toby and Felix from a distance. D.S. Cohen interviews Maxine and Trish. Trish takes the blame. Maxine learns that Warren is in hospital on life support and Trish helps her flee to get to him. Trish attempts to dispose of the recorder but it falls from her bag. Nancy cries on Sienna's shoulder. Trish shouts at P.C. Franks, but is thrown when P.C. Franks sympathises with her. Nate shows Grace the evidence he has found.
D.S. Cohen plays the tape. P.C. Franks cleans the champagne bottle and tampers with the dictaphone. Trish is stunned to learn that the tape has been cut off right before Maxine entered and struck Fergus. D.S. Cohen is convinced that Trish acted in self-defence in a dangerous criminal and decides to take no further action. Ste is enraged when Cindy gets angry with him and refuses to use his company again. Ste then fires Sienna.
As Warren wakes up, Maxine tells him that she killed Fergus. He is impressed. An amazed Trish confronts P.C. Franks, having realised that P.C. Franks tampered with the evidence to save Maxine. Martine is furious to find that her dress has been mixed up, but changes her mind about needing the day to be perfect. Grace believes that Lisa's disappearance is suspicious.Cast
