Synopsis
Becky is encouraged by Diane to take her son to the hospital, where she later learns he may be deaf. Martine's unhappy with her new house guest. Shaq publicly outs Ali.Plot
Diane worries she and Becky may have left it too late to take Henry to the hospital. Sami informs Misbah that James will be searching for information against Ali. Things have moved at the Deveraux flat since Pearl moved in. Becky returns to the village, having stayed at a hotel for the night. Sami learns that Ali previously left a senior consultancy job in London after just three months, and no one knows why. Martine vents to Felix. She's unsure how they can plan a wedding with Pearl around. Pearl hears them talking. Becky returns Diane's focus on Tony, until Henry cries and vomits.
Ali's reveals to Misbah he's being offered an award for his contribution to oncology at the hospital later. She's not happy. Celeste senses something may be wrong with Verity. Sami learns that Ali's absence in London can be explained by volunteering abroad. Imran's angry and heads to confront Ali. Shaq heads to calm him down. Becky's refusal to take Henry to the hospital worries Diane. She tries to get her on her side. Scott invites Pearl to a musical. Diane threatens to get social services involved if Becky doesn't take Henry to hospital, so Becky does. Misbah's only happy to report Ali if they have solid evidence against him. Scott has an idea on how Pearl can win Martine back over.
Imran wants everyone to know who Ali is so he cannot get away with anything more. Diane apologises to Tony for ever doubting his fidelity. She plans to end her friendship with Becky. Celeste plans a girls breakfast for Verity tomorrow morning to help cheer her up. An upset Becky returns to Tony and Diane and reveals Henry may be deaf. Yasmine's snappy. Sami listens to her as she tries to get her head around her mother's revelation. He reminds her they need to look after each other as well. A photographer records Ali after the award ceremony. Martine gives a few words to the photographer, singing Ali's praises. Shaq arrives at the ceremony and publicly outs Ali as a rapist.Cast
