Synopsis
The McQueens refuse to hand over the pub without a fight. Misbah struggles with Shaq's growing bond with Ali. Olivia discovers a secret about Goldie.Plot
The McQueen family carry out their plan to drive Tony and Diane out of The Dog in the Pond. Misbah looks for a consultant job in another hospital. Cher and Theresa plan to plant stink bombs. Shaq and Imran speak highly of Ali, to Misbah's annoyance. Shaq offers to convince Ali to change his mind about the warning, but Misbah does not want Ali's help. Olivia reveals that she has a job at Hollyoaks High School. Goldie decides to take over the planning of Olivia's hen do when Prince tells her that Olivia's plans have fallen through.
Diane is unsure about taking over the pub when the beer smells peculiar. Cher and Theresa have planted stink bombs in the bathroom. They tell Diane that the pub has a rat infestation and the bathrooms overflow. Imran continues to lie to Misbah about University. Olivia is unimpressed by Goldie's ideas. Tony is furious to find that the delivery has been cancelled. Becky tells Tony about the bad reviews online, but she has noticed that all of the reviews complain about an "infistation" of rats. Tony then notices that the pub sign has disappeared, and realises what the McQueens have been doing.
Olivia is enraged to overhear Goldie telling Scott that Olivia is stuck-up and she won't let her marry Prince. Tony tells Theresa, Cher and Cleo that he wants them out of the flat by the end of the day. Diane tells Becky of her worries. Shaq tries to talk to Ali about Misbah. Ali refuses to revoke the formal warning. Verity reminds Theresa that Fergus and Tony are in their rights to evict and dismiss them from the pub.
Misbah is angry when Ali informs her that he has revoked the warning. Shaq is perplexed when Misbah continues to try distance him and Ali. Olivia finds a note from Goldie with "I'm sorry" written on the front. Nana continues to play games by tampering with the fuse box. Diane panics as she believes it's the rats, and that she and her family are in danger.Cast
