Synopsis
Shaq learns the truth about his paternity, but is left with a warning by Misbah. Cindy worries about Luke with Sue's inheritance money. Nancy and Darren wonder what to do with Charlie and Ella, whilst Cher makes a friend in Juliet.Plot
Shaq confronts Misbah over Verity's suspicions. Nancy demands to speak to Charlie and Ella. Luke is informed that Sue's money has been transferred into his bank account. Misbah confirms that Ali is his father. She reveals that Ali doesn't know anything about Shaq. Sami is annoyed when he realises that Shaq spent the night with Verity. Darren and Nancy disapprove of Ella and Charlie's relationship. Nancy wants to send Ella back to live with Mandy. Tony advises Luke to get wedding insurance, but Luke is adamant that he will marry Cindy.
Sami relents and comforts Shaq. He tells Shaq of Kashif's suicide. Peri warns Cher to be careful around Juliet. Charlie threatens to return to drug dealing if it means he can get back with Ella. Ali tells Mandy that he has booked DJ an appointment with "the best spinal doctor there is". Shaq arrives and outrightly reveals that he is Ali's son. Cindy worries when Zara tells her about the inheritance money. Misbah tells Yazz about the birth. Ali tells Shaq that Misbah disappeared, and he didn't know why. Misbah refuses to tell Yazz about Ali's true colours.
Nancy prepares to talk to Mandy, but Darren tells her about what Charlie said. Nancy panics and tells Mandy that Darren can accompany her to DJ's meeting in London. Ali angrily confronts Misbah. Sami interrupts and Ali storms off. Cher tells Juliet that they need to work together to find out who the stalker is. Darren thinks that he and Nancy won't be able to stop Charlie and Ella from sleeping together. Misbah is horrified to learn that Shaq has seen Ali and will see him again. Misbah tells Shaq that Ali forced her into agreeing to have an abortion, but Misbah secretly gave Shaq to Hasina instead. Luke places a bet with the inheritance money.Cast

- The transmission of this episode contained a small white line in the top left corner of the frame - Channel 4's version of signifying "Disaster Recovery Mode" to technical engineers. The "Disaster Recovery Mode" was activated by a fire at Red Bee Media's Broadcast Centre in London, which caused several severe technical errors during other programming for Channel 4 and its owned channels.
