Synopsis
Cindy is distraught when Lydia compares Luke's behaviour to Peter's final six months. Darren is devastated to learn about The Hutch's financial situation. Mercedes refuses to face the truth, Shaq acts on unresolved feelings and Toby is left horrified by a revelation.Plot
Cindy is horrified to receive a call, informing her that Luke has been arrested. Mercedes is in a bad mood after the break-up. Joel tries to talk to Cleo. D.S. Cohen warns Luke that he faces five years in prison. She is infuriated with his reaction and charges him with armed robbery. Joel tries to convince Cleo that she was better with him, inadvertently convincing her to tell Toby about the kiss. Lydia thinks that the robbery was down to Luke's dementia. Sami is impressed by Imran's photographs. Shaq tells Sami and Imran about Theresa being angry with him.
Darren is infuriated to learn of Luke's attempted robbery. P.C. Franks informs Tony that as Luke was carrying a crowbar, he will be charged with armed robbery. Mercedes lies to Cher that she and Sylver are still together. Cleo prepares to tell Toby about the kiss, but ends up telling him about Walter. Joel overhears and thinks that he knows about the kiss - Toby explodes and becomes threatening. Theresa tells Shaq that he wants to be exclusive: if he can't give her that, they can't be together. Cindy tells D.S. Cohen about Luke's dementia.
Cleo is horrified to return to the garage to find that Toby knows of the kiss. She tells them that Joel is her past, and Toby is her future. Mercedes prepares to break the news to Bobby that she and Sylver have split, but ends up lying that Sylver will be in hospital a while longer and will be home soon. Shaq tells Verity about his feelings for her. They nearly kiss, but are interrupted by Sami. Toby and Cleo are able to sort things out and reconcile. Tony receives notifications from several loan sites that he has been rejected. He tells Darren that the robbery was an insurance scam, and they're going to lose The Hutch. Lydia tells Cindy that Peter's reckless behaviour came six months before his death.Cast
