Synopsis
Fergus has a promotion in store for Warren. Mercedes and Donna-Marie are drawn together by their differences. Sid goes on an unexpected date with Demi.Plot
Donna-Marie announces to Romeo they are going on holiday. Warren is released without charge. Fergus drops Warren from his business. Juliet arranges for Sid to meet her for lunch. Donna-Marie gives Mercedes one hour to hand over the £10,000 she learns about from Sylver. Mercedes scrambles the money and hands it to Donna-Marie, on the deal that she leaves the village and starts fresh with her kids elsewhere. Maxine's apologetic towards Misbah for Warren's behaviour. Misbah doesn't blame her.
Romeo asks Donna-Marie if Cher can join them on their holidays. She allows her to, but claims in front of Mercedes she'd need more cash. Mercedes is furious with Donna-Marie for not sticking to her word. Sid arrives for lunch with Juliet, where he finds Demi. Mercedes greets a dealer and then arranges to meet Donna-Marie at the Loft. Donna-Marie shows up and the women begin to bicker. Mercedes upsets Donna-Marie with a remark about her past. Donna-Marie gets emotional as she opens up to Mercedes about her battle to stay clean. Mercedes smashes Donna-Marie's glass when she goes to drink it and Donna-Marie realises she's spiked her drink.
Mercedes is apologetic towards Donna-Marie, but Donna-Marie's disgraced by her actions. Mercedes communicates her guilt over Romeo with Donna-Marie and then explains that she wants another baby to make Sylver happy. Donna-Marie thinks Mercedes needs to come clean to Sylver about her affair and decides to return Cher's money. Fergus thinks Warren's a good father for constantly looking out for his kids, so allows him back into the business and offers him a promotion: he takes charge of the day-to-day running of the business and Fergus acts as a silent partner. Warren agrees to the deal. Sid gets upset and ends his date with Demi when she raises his disability and recent bleeding. Warren demands Misbah's overdue rent. Mercedes confesses her affair to Cher and Sylver.Cast
