Synopsis

Sienna is given fresh hope over Liberty. Misbah confesses to Marnie. Mandy wants her daughter home.

Plot

Ste tells Sienna he knows what Summer did. Nancy questions Darren on whether Charlie and Ella living together is a good idea. Sienna can't get through to Summer. She wants to know what Ste's on about. He shows her the sympathy card. Sienna recognises the handwriting as Liberty's and takes it. She phones Damon. Darren fears Ella will run away again if she moves back in with Mandy. Shaq tries to reassure Misbah that he won't cheat with Verity. Celeste reveals to Verity that she knows her case scenario yesterday was about her own personal problems and unearths it is about Shaq and Sami. Damon calls Sienna and she declares that Liberty is alive. Summer overhears Sienna's phone call and is surprised upon seeing the card. Sienna heads to the police station to hand over her new-found evidence.

Mandy blames Darren and Nancy for Ella running away. Nancy reassures her Ella's move away from home is just temporary. Summer convinces Sienna that her grief is making her believe the handwriting is Liberty's. She offers to take the card into the police station instead of her, knowing the police have a tendency to disbelieve Sienna. Sienna lets her. Summer waits inside the police station until Sienna has gone and then leaves with the card. Cindy helps Mandy come to terms with her panic attack and takes her out to help clear her mind. Ste grows paranoid over the card. Summer visits Liberty and angrily shows her the card. She claims things are going out of control and she needs to take action - by moving out of Chester. Liberty fears she'll be left for dead. Sienna lets Damon down over her hype that Liberty is alive. Damon tries to understand how Sienna reached the conclusion that Liberty was alive in the first place and learns that the card was found in Summer's cake box. He tells her that Summer has her wrapped around her little finger and she is being gaslit.

Celeste thinks Verity should explore her feelings for Shaq, but Verity is strongly against the idea. When Celeste manages to get out of Theresa that she and Shaq haven't yet slept together, she encourages Verity to find out what's really going on between her and Shaq. Ste feels safer after a talk with Fergus, who has offered to install CCTV in the house for free. Verity prepares to talk to Shaq about their feelings for each other, but is interrupted by Theresa, is also at home. Theresa seduces Shaq upstairs, putting an abrupt end to his and Verity's planned conversation. Misbah shares her home troubles with Marnie. Sienna shares with Summer Damon's concerns that she is being gaslit. She wants to phone the police station to see what they have on the card and its handwriting, but is stopped by a persuasive Summer, who shifts the topic of conversation to them spending some time in France together. Brody meets Damon, who informs him that Liberty is still alive. Damon vows to find Liberty. Misbah gets upset over Shaq and shocks Marnie by divulging that she's not Shaq's auntie, she's his mother...
