Synopsis
Ste is concerned by a note he finds in Leah's cake box. Ella's disappearance causes Mandy to have a panic attack. Summer tells Sienna that Brody has been abusive towards her.Plot
Mandy is frantic with worry - the police have not found Ella. Summer drops off the cake that Ste ordered for Leah. Verity admires her gift from Sami. Darren and Nancy search for Ella, along with Cindy and Luke. Mandy is desperate to ensure that the police don't find out that Ella has taken £1000 from the Hutch's till. Summer wants to spend the day with Sienna, which upsets Damon, who wishes that Sienna would not turn her back on Liberty and Brody. Charlie meets with Ella at the park and hands her food. He tells her that Mandy is worried, but Ella dismisses his claims. Ella then wants to go on the run when Charlie advises she returns the money she took or else she could return to a secure unit.
Celeste notices Verity's mind wondering; Verity uses a work case scenario to explain the situation she's in with Shaq and Sami. Celeste's advice on the matter leaves Verity pensive. Juliet helps Sid snap out of his self-pity. Mandy suffers a panic attack at the Hutch. Theresa invites Sami and Verity to double date with her and Shaq. Verity uses a moment alone with Shaq to stress that he cannot have feelings for her. She is embarrassed when Shaq explains that it was Sami who was trying to impress her with the present. Nancy helps Mandy through her panic attack. Summer shows up at Sienna's with torn clothing. She states Brody assaulted her and that it's her fault that he "murdered" Liberty, before dropping another bombshell through her claims that Brody has been violent towards her in the past. She intends to go to the police, and wants Sienna to go with her.
Darren catches Charlie with a rucksack and is intrigued by it. Charlie admits he knows where Ella is; Darren demands he takes him to her. Verity apologises to Shaq for jumping to conclusions. Misbah notices their conversation and works out Shaq has a crush on Verity. Darren encourages Ella to return home. She agrees to head back, but on one condition. Sienna and Summer return from the police station and end up in each other's arms. Ella returns and Mandy is relieved, although it is short-lived when Ella reveals that she will be moving in with Darren and Nancy. Mandy's broken when her daughter expresses her intent to never see her again. Ste goes to tuck into Leah's cake. Upon opening the cake box, he notices an envelope. He opens it and is furious to find a card with "RIP Leah, you're all in my thoughts xx" written in it. Thinking the sender of the cake was the same person who attacked Leah, he vows to find out what is going on.Cast
