Synopsis
Ella struggles to adjust to life back in the village. Sami sets Shaq the task of finding a nice gift that he can give to Verity. Luke finds visiting order slips among Sue's belongings and is determined to find out who she was in contact with.Plot
Nancy bans Charlie from seeing Ella under any circumstances. Liberty wants to come clean over Leah, still under the impression that she is dead. Cindy insists that Luke can never know about the letters between Sue and Stephen. Verity buys Sami cufflinks. He feels compelled to return the favour so asks Shaq to buy him a present to give back to her. Mandy struggles to tell Ella that she cannot see Charlie and instead suggests she takes part in the assassins game. Summer decorates a cake for Leah in front of Liberty, claiming it's for her funeral. Shaq and Theresa go on another date at the Hutch. Verity gets upset as today is Edward's birthday.
Lucas distresses Ella when he writes "Bang bang, guess who's already dead... Jordan Price" on a napkin and hands it to her. Zara thinks Luke has a right to know about Sue's contact with Stephen, but Cindy thinks otherwise and manages to dissuade her. Mandy finds Charlie and asks him to meet up with Ella. Tom overhears what Mandy's asking Charlie to do and insists he cannot go behind Darren and Nancy's back. Ollie fails his A-Levels. Luke seeks his own A-Level results to comfort him, but whilst looking stumbles across visiting order slips. Shaq and Verity get talking. Verity explains that she gave Sami cufflinks because it was something she used to give Edward every year on his birthday. Shaq gets an idea of what to get for Verity off the back of their conversation. Luke shares his find with Cindy and Zara, requesting they head home to check the passes out. Cindy messages Ollie, asking him to get rid of Sue's prison passes. Liberty snatches a pen and card from Summer whilst her back's turned. She writes in the card and then slips it in an envelope, taking Summer's card out in the process. An oblivious Summer puts the envelope in the cake box and takes it with her.
Tom informs Darren of Charlie and Ella's meeting. Darren finds Mandy with the teens and phones Nancy. He and Mandy then bicker. Ella learns that Mandy failed to tell her she was banned from seeing Charlie and blames her for everything. Mandy responds in an intensive manner, wishing her daughter wasn't a killer. Ella walks off. Luke can't find the passes, so he publishes a social media post in the hopes someone will know something. Sami gives Verity a ring with a horseshoe in it. She loves it, as she has craved on ever since Cristal Connors wore one in her favourite film, Showgirls. Her mind turns to Shaq when she realises she hadn't told Sami her favourite film, but had told Shaq. Tom apologises to Mandy and heads to the till to collect some outstanding charity money that Tony owes him. He finds a written note from Ella inside the till and hands it to Mandy. Mandy is mortified when she reads the note and discovers her daughter has run away.Cast
